Lessons in Kindness
Franklin The Firefly: The Glow Within stands out for its emphasis on kindness, friendship, and the importance of being true to oneself. It is a story that encourages children to embrace their differences and to recognize that what makes them unique can also be their greatest asset. The illustrations complement the narrative perfectly, bringing the characters and their world to life with vivid and expressive imagery. The book's aesthetic is as important as its message, creating an immersive experience for young readers.

Loved it!
The Mysterious Egg is original, beautifully illustrated, and lots of fun. It has many aspects that will delight young readers. For example, the story repeats four fun-to-say words, features a variety of forest animal characters, and presents a mystery to solve about the appearance of colorful Easter eggs. The Easter bunny makes a surprise appearance, providing a fun clue for kids to spot. However, the star of the book is Granola Squatch. He's such a unique main character with so much personality. The artwork for him is fantastic, and I can see kids liking him. I can't wait to read Granola Squatch's subsequent adventures.

I Felt Spoken Too
A Time for Color is such a wonderful book. To be honest I didn't expect to like this but, but it is a book I will show and talk about to anyone who will listen. What a wonderful book, precious, perfectly told. I'm an illustrator and I thought the way the book used the absence of color was part of the story speaking so deeply into my sole and slowly I had to listen. I was truly moved. I'm not even expressing myself properly.
This is a rhyming book smartly told with heart. Very much like The Giving Tree.
Read Aloud from the illustrator!
